Even though I log and scan everything for commisioned work when it comes to planning new personal work I just scribble my ideas down on whatever bit of paper is near to hand and then ducktape it to my office wall. I've have just bought myself some beautiful little notebooks from Muji though so I can work through my personal shoot ideas and progress them. I really like the idea of just having a shelf full of ideas, scribblings and sketches in about forty years time.
